An idea for the rules.
I was looking over in the rules of this tournament. and well it seams that you guys did a good job on removing the wraith but you still left the auger which also has a impenetrable shield. also there are no restrictions on berserks. I would suggest that you guys take a look at the gamebattle.com 50K R2 tourney rules. they didn't allow the larrk/Pulse cannon/Iron heart/Ring of life/prototype ammo. because it would cause a real unfair advantage to an individual and the team. the other besreks were fine since they required some sort of team play and strategy for them to work. other than that i have no problems with the rules.

Hi brando,
The auger is not impenetrable as an hedgehog destroys the shield in one shot. We have looked at Gamebattles.com but we are trying to state our own rules and regulations and keep away from how they do things. We discussed about removing other berserks/weapons but decided in our way to get round this is to have a 10 life limit so it limits berserks down. The laark and pulse cannon is not always accurate and i do not see a problem with this. Ring of life, once its used it drains stright back to default, Instead of if you did die, it wouldnt stop half way up the berserk, and also an hedgehog can basically kill you in one even with ring of life. Prototype ammo cannot be monitored all the time and how can you tell who actually is using it? or who put it down?
As for the ironheart, we did discuss this but decided we will see how the first season with ironheart goes, maybe in the future it will be removed. We are trying to give people freedom with gun selection or else it will just come down to carbine, sniper, marksman and bullseye. People do things differntly with each gun. Only reason people use the wraith is due to the glitch jump to get kills, so we removed this.
But every berserk has its advantages, adrenaline boost makes you faster and more accurate, should that be removed as it makes you get Headshots easier and harder to get hit. We measured and weighed up every berserk and decided that they all should stay, as each one gives an advantage whatever it is.
We are trying to enforce a team game where you need team tactics and strategy to beat the opposition, by removing half the berserks, most members will have same berserks specially invisibility.
I do understand your views as we have discussed this prior to this post. If it does get too much for players this season and takes away the fun of gaming, then next season we will look strongly at this. We will send out feedback emails to everyone after the first season to see what people want and how to improve. I do hope we see more of you in the future and in the league.
Hope i answered everything you needed to know.
Till then happy gaming brando

well ok i can see why you guy chose to keep the life limit to 10. so Good luck with the tourney. I'll think about joining it after the first season.Admin wrote:Brando0525 wrote:I was looking over in the rules of this tournament. and well it seams that you guys did a good job on removing the wraith but you still left the auger which also has a impenetrable shield. also there are no restrictions on berserks.
